Nitrous helps with not over heating the trans fluid when your spooling them, 5 seconds on the brakes trying to get it spooled and then waiting for the other guy to stage will have you changing fluid between rounds. E50 has basically has the same rating on the anti knock index as e85. It's like .1 octane difference between e50 and e85. Its not octane as much as cylinder cooling with additional fuel that make the higher percentages slightly beneficial.
