The Apocalypse update came with its own map, the Sunny Meadows map and a completely new lobby. That same update also brought with it the custom difficulty settings and so the challenge was born. In October of 2022, Phasmophobia introduced the “Apocalypse Draws Near” challenge in spirit for Halloween.
