Cronus is pretty much the worst sword in the game by stats. If modded correctly it'll still be adequate for the level you're at, but the Heat Sword is better in every way. For trinity i max all 4 skills which leaves me with 8 mod slots. You can optionally drop 1 level in skill 1 and grab a second mod slot, this is probably the best idea since skill 1 is the worst skill.
