Verified. From the way you descibed you concern i beliver that the idle air control valve is sticking. The best way to describe is that it acts like a choke on a carburated vehicle. The IAC valve is located on the upper intake assembly and is help on by 2 8mm bolts and one electrical plug.

If it's stuck open - hard to maintain pressure. The quick and easy check is to pull the vacuum line off the valve - if there's any fuel that oozes out - it's bad.
