Ford escape limp mode.
The only limp mode I know of on these trucks is an alternate cylinder fire strategy that happens when the engine overheats. By shutting down every other cylinder per revolution the cylinder just pumps air instead of supporting combustion during that cycle. I think Cadillac was the first to offer this strategy. John.
