Players were not disappointed. Firefly guitars had great attention to detail and very decent finishing for a very budget guitar. The guitar is a semi-hollow body with a set neck design. Firefly combines the classic maple neck and rosewood fretboard design. It features two humbucking pick-ups (more on that later) and beautiful inlays.A Firefly has wonderful workmanship and finish. This gorgeous deep blue burst FF335 is resonant when unplugged, with a fine, straight neck and easily adjustable action. It's also great just to look at, with pearly binding and a glass-like sheen front and back, and very lightweight at just over 6 lbs. But out of the box and plugged in, it had a ...
The price I payed for this was actually $169 plus $27 for shipping so just around $200 from guitarsgarden.com and well worth every penny!Lastly, the fretwork. To be honest, the fretwork was pretty good. The guitar came out of the box with lower than average action, and no fretbuzz anywhere on the neck. Bends were smooth, so the frets were well polished, or at least new enough not to have any oxidation that makes them feel gritty.This Firefly FFDCD is probably one of the best playing affordable guitars I've owned. I've read several reviews and have watched many video reviews omn Firefly guitars, including this model.
