The G35 ECU can be reset by disconnecting the negative battery terminal for at least 30 seconds. This will clear any stored codes and data in the ECU and return it to its default state. Locate the ECU. The ECU is usually located under the driver’s side dash, near the kick panel. Disconnect the battery.
