Ping works just fine if Scanning is off, but with Scan on, my Ping doesn't return any contacts. Verified across multiple ships and with "Lock ping to Scan Mode" setting active and deactivated. I can work around it by switching to scan mode after I ping but with the short TTL on ping contacts and the fact that I can't reduce Ping angle anymore ...

I've reconnected my devices and even reinstalled them and the associated software, including reinstalling star citizen. Basically reproduced the steps I took when I first starting using it. I also can't rebind any hotas keys. When I double click on them like usual, nothing happens. I can still change keybindings in the keyboard section though.
When I switch back to weapons mode, Radar ping doesn't work. I've tried multiple button/key rebinds - Scan mode always works, Radar never pings. There is an option in the general settings that restricts ping to scan mode only. Make sure it is not set to 'yes'. If you do bind the Ping and Scan together, you can then adjust the Ping Angle.

Hitting Tab will ping, V will enter scan mode - which isn’t a ping, it lets you target a specific target and scan it. Ping will not work in scan mode I believe. That ping thing worked in previous versions, but it’s automatic right now. Rocks will just show up when you get close enough. With two players, one in the pilot seat and one in the turret, scanning worked fine for us when space mining. Maybe only a bug if you seat hop? Nope, had it as well in a two-player mining session.
