Old ones were okay but ultimately just generic projectile swords with the only real difference being the projectile having a new color/debuff depending on the biome. The new biome blade and ark lines are way more interesting. Same. The up-down swinging also reminds me of Split's heavy melee class.

No attunement is the universal best they all Excell in specific categories. Flamecharm is the best for support IMO. Frostdraw is the best for defensive play IMO. Galebreathe is the best for mobility and burst damage IMO. Thundercall is the best for speed (attack speed, travel, startup time etc) IMO. Shadowcast is the best for hitstuns and dps IMO.
