Open the front shield and try and rotate the roll of net in the direction it turns when wrapping. If the net roll turns easily look at the large disc at the end of the roll. If the disc is rotating with the net roll then the brake is not being applied.There is a 1 inch shaft (more likely 25mm) running through the feeder stuffer. The shaft must have worked loose, and became out of round. The hole in the counterweight on the right side, and the arm on the left side, are attached to that shaft, and were also worn egg shaped.
