Of course, cannot totally rule out a wiring issue. Would take apart the kill and starter switch and clean contacts. Would also replace the starter relay (they are inexpensive). vulcan 1500 carb overflow problems. I have a 1995 vulcan 1500. The rear carb keeps overflowing. I have changed the needles, even swapped the floats, checked the ports for debris that might prevent the needle from seating, and it still leaks from the rear carb. Hi there I had the same problem with my Kawasaki Vulcan 800 Classic 2005 B model. After engagement of gears as soon as I let the clutch out she didn't want to go and cut oooot. So after removing the Clutch Lever switch aka the Bullshit Switch and putting a loop into the contacts she was fine. Either but a new switch or do what I did.I am sure Kawasaki will get their fuel managment sorted out.
