Staccato magazines will also function in the Prodigy, and some early run users reported feeding issues with the factory magazines that were remedied by switching to Staccato brand mags. Unlucky-Hamster-2791. •. Thank you for posting this question (and for the subsequent responses) because I'm toying with a C2 and have been trying to get any assessment on whether or not the x-series serrations are worth the spend. I never resell, so value there doesn't help, and grip in handling those without don't seem a problem at all.

The difference is that an optics-ready C2 is $1,000 more than the Kimber, and an optics-ready Wilson is an eye-watering $2,000 more. A size comparison with the Staccato C2 (top) and the Kimber KDS9c (bottom). For a street price of around $1,300, you are replicating that 2011 feel and performance. Picked up my Staccato XL and brought it to the range with 3 other 9mm items for comparison. Testing from a rest at 15 yards and the X-6 and DW 1911 was significantly better with regards to accuracy. 1 - X-6. 2 - DW 1911. ----big difference in grouping between the above 2 and the 2 below---. 3 - Staccato XL - not much better …Staccato XL. The Staccato XL is a semi-automatic pistol chambering 9mm Luger. The handgun is quite small and not as hard to control as a 1911. It’s not lightweight, but it’s not the heaviest gun you will handle either.Well, the gents over at SuperSetCA took on that exact question with the 2021 Staccato P DPO 2011 duty pistol. I already knew that liked the way the 2011 shot, so I chose the Staccato. A $2500 gun is the least of my worries if I have to use it in self defense. They're not that expensive for a 2011, I don't have one but I'd say they're probably worth it- especially if you qualify for the mil/le 15% off + 6 mags deal.

My opinion after owning an XL and now an Atlas Athena, and handling / selling lots of staccatos and now atlas’s (we are new atlas dealers), the XC is WAY overpriced. The XC should be closer priced to $3600. The $4300 they are charging is a bit ridiculous. love staccatos.

I keep hearing about Atlas, but I've heard nothing but positive things about Staccato. My only 1911 comparison is my Springfield RO Champion in .45, and my TRP. I've been carrying S&W (M&P) sig, and currently CZ polymers for years, but I've always loved my 1911's for range duty, but not for carry. The c2 DPO sounded like it hit the sweet spot ...It depends how patient you are or how badly you need the gun. Staccato pistols are designed to fit comfortably in the hand, with an ergonomic grip angle that promotes a natural point of aim. Funny you ask this question today. I actually emailed staccato yesterday and asked if the lead times for a steel p is still 90-120 days. And they got back to me and said yes, the lead times are accurate. I'm planning on purchasing next week and considering the fast track option. 1.It's probably also worth mentioning that the P they had available was the aluminum frame P, not the steel. ... The Staccato rep said that he actually owns 3 of the C2s personally. One other thing that I should mention is that by pure luck the shop did happen to have a 2019 P on consignment. So almost double the price. Both the chunk port/genghis comp and the ports are fun to shoot. Just depends on what you're looking for. The monsoon port will feel softer to the shooter where the stacc-ports are more a progressive feel which tracks faster when compare to my Omni (which feels similar to the chunk port).Staccato pistols are hot right now. Don't ever drop the slide on an empty chamber in any 1911 or 2011. It will wreck the trigger job and possibly some of the internals. Also, don't let the hammer drop with the slide off while cleaning. Make sure and ride it forward by hand, so you don't accidentally pull the trigger while cleaning.

Not sure what the street price will be on these but list price is $645. More than a P2. Not sure if it's worth it to you but I would stick with a used OG that people are dumping for cheap. Looking at the gap between the RMR and ejection port on the Staccato CS, I think these would block the ejection port. Bummer.

If you don't want to wait that long and have the cash to spend, then it would be worth it.The P shoots a little better than C2 and the C2 shoots only a tiny bit better than the CS at least in my hands. Carrying them in a holster, the CS is lighter, easier to conceal and more comfortable hands down. It comes down to what you want to do, The XC is a nice range toy, you cant really compete with it in a comp though, it put you in the open class and you are up against true open guns. You can do it, you are just gonna be out gunned. The P allows you to do much more if you are into the competition side of things.
