Invisible pipboy fallout 4.

Pip Boy turns invisible after exiting vault 111. I've recently created a new survival game and after I leave the vault with my pip boy, it goes invisible once I reach the surface. I've tried this and it doesn't work I've even gone back to the first save on the character before she used the ikaros race and the pipboy worked fine but after I changed it the pipboy disappeared again.
