The spells won't get better, the more corrupted you are, its just that you need it for the stronger ones. #2 Corruption normally stops at 50% of your health and stamina. Corruption perks are a failure. Any system that over writes previous benefits far outweighs any gain you could receive from it, especially when it comes with significant disadvantages.
