I contacted Amped and they indicated that this is a known issue with some Comcast Gateways and setting a Static IP address on their Wireless Extender would solve the issue. I did this on the Amped unit and it now works like a charm. Unfortunately, I have not found a way to set the Almond unit to a static IP so I have sent them an email.
