I've tried amp and ninjatrader trials, but I think amp and Sierra combo is the best. Ninjatrader takes a while to start up and load charts, versus Sierra which takes a few seconds only.

Rithmic does offer a C++ API, a language agnostic websocket based google protobuffer feed, and also have a DTC protocol that is how Sierra chart (Sierra came up with the DTC protocol) connects to rithmic. It could be an issue on the Rithmic side if you have two different connections trying to be made. You would have to check this with Apex to make sure.
