Mack mp8 good or bad.

Hello.I'm currently in the process of switching from hotshot hauling to flatbed and currently looking at Mack Pinnacle trucks with the MP8.2008 and up.Was wanting feedback on problems related to this engine as well as problems with the truck overall.I am also looking at Peterbilt,KW,And Freightliner,But it seems like the Cummins ISX and Detroit's are full of engine problems and emissions ...I'm looking at a 09 ch613 with an mp8 set at 505 hp. 3.44 ratio with an 18 speed. How does the mp8 compare to a c15 or n14 in power and reliability? It has 760,000 miles and was inframed at around 350,000 because it dropped a valve. I did a compression test as mack recommends and I only had 375 lbs at 1000 rpm mack states it should be atleast 500. So I pulled the pistons out but no resistance when I pushed the rods and pistons out Liners were glazed up real bad the 6 injectors that were bad didn't help any. Piston are good, rings are weak on tension.
