08 Malibu 3.6 overheating issues. So I've got a higher mileage Malibu and for the past 6 months ive noticed that if at idle for longer periods, the temp would move from quarter to a bit above half on the dash. And now my a/c don't work when it is getting warm. But I could usually turn on the heat and it would go back down really fast.

I have 06 Chevy Malibu 2.2 Lm that's overheating after it gets warm. It got a lot of pressure build-up when start boiling, it coming from the return line from the motor to overflow. I have change thermos, water pump, temp sensor, bypass heater core, and new coolant cap. Still overheats after about 20-30 mins at idle or driving.
