1 Answer. They are very similar in playability. The TS3 is forged 1025C carbon steel head and has a progressive cavity that has tungsten co-forged in the toe. It also has a progressive offset. Have ht some other forged irons and love the feel, which is why I am looking at those in particular. I intend to buy one or two 7 irons to test but am debating about where to start.

Mar 9, 2021 · As for the clubs, I wouldn't necessarily classify them as players "distance" irons. For reference, my prior clubs were Wilson Tour FG F5s and before that, Maltby DBM's. Both have very traditional lofts with 7 iron @ 34°. Ts-1 is at 32° and my carry distance is only about 3-5 yds extra per club.
