Oct 13, 2023 · Found a lump under my right rib. Hello, I had my gallbladder removed last year. Also when I sit in my chair I tend to lean on my right side. There's a pain there, a dull pain that comes and goes. Tonight, I pressed right under my rib cage on both sides and found that on my right side there is a hard area, that feels like a lump. Given that it's causing you discomfort it's going to need to come out either way. My experience wasn't with the rib, but it was a cancer in bone. Last April I had a tumor in my pelvic bone that ended up being a chondrosarcoma.
