Sounds like you may be experiencing one of the most common problems with the Odyssey- faulty micro switches in the door latch module. . If so, the solution is a new door latch. But a reset should have taken care of that. You can try turning off the power sliding door switch at the driver seat, then opening the door manually all the way. Then turn it back on and try to close it using the button. If that doesn't work, close it by hand and try to open it with the button again.
