You,ll find that the 16" barrel will recoil slightly LESS than the 18" model. I personally dont think there is any difference in accuracy,especially out to 2 &300 yrds. I have a ptr91kfm-4 that I shoot with irons at 200 and 300 and its alot handier ,being shorter and all. I think there is a hundred to two hundred feet per second more in the 18".
