I only use it for Old One's Army, because I have other arenas for bosses and events. There are restrictions in place for Old One's Army that aren't applicable to other events, so this arena was pretty much optimized around those restrictions. My old arena that is now converted to look like the supports, also had a two block wide platform as part of the floor for the same reason, because I had made an underground room to store a chest. During that whole time I did multiple old ones army events, and the platforms were there the entire time.
