Make sure you have the most up to date version of the Grandpa's Farm map. I had assumed it updated along with the rest of the mod, but noticed it was a separate file on Nexus. Until I updated it the farm never expanded even after I'd done everything required for it. I think the ledger is a quest on the order board outside Lewis' house.
