Re-check frame ground for good contact. I suggest removing the bolt or nut, scuffing the frame/engine surface and ground cable terminal with an abrasive material, apply a dielectric grease and reconnect. Make sure the ignition coils are connected properly. Visually and electrically check spark plugs and caps again.

I'm working on a Vulcan 800 that's been bobbed. The guy deleted the cluster, turn signals, yada yada yada, well now it has no spark. The wire harness is a used, but good condition stock one. The coils have been tested and are good, wires are good, plugs are good. The stator, pickup coil, and ic ignitor have all been replaced with brand new parts.

Run a fine piece of copper wire through them to make sure they are clear. This is the most common cause of clutch slip when hot, ok when cold. Show more replies.

Fuel pressure drop on a stock 900 snapping from 20ish to 100% throttle instantly can go as low as 28 PSI. I'm a bit surprised that you're stumped.
