Mindthief gives you two decent assassins, good board control and the Tinkerer acting in more of a crowd control / artillery role as the situation demands. Tip.

I've been playing Gloomhaven for about two years. As most of you probably know, the Tinkerer is one the least appreciated classes in Gloomhaven, so I decided to create a guide that will hopefully steer newer or less familiar players toward what makes the Tinkerer such a great class.

I’ll offer a few pair-specific tips. First, you should both use your summons. Summons are arguably best at 2 players, because you can more easily outnumber your enemies with them, and fewer incoming attacks means they tend to live longer. Try to tank for them and heal them so that they can live as long as possible.

As a ranged class, he can attack with a top action and still heal an ally without moving. By adding strengthen/bless, your allies get stronger and can make up for the Tinker's relatively low damage output.Brute, you're going to need someone to take point and take the hits for the group. The brute is much better at this than the Craigheart I'm playing with a 4 player group, and the brutes ability to mitigate damage and redirect attacks is essential.
