One thing that always stressed me out was the constant threat of biters and having to manage so many angles of attack all the time but I also didn't want to remove them entirely to still have challenge.Practically perfect deathworld start. keep shuffling seeds in the preview until none of the starter ores are mixing together and there's no cliffs on top of them. not being in a desert will also be helpful for managing pollution. it'll take you a while, but you'll find one eventually. I would also add having water surround a great deal of your spawn.

If it doesn't give you a peninsula, you still will have something with decent choke points. Tried that for like 30min, kept getting terrible starts so dug through this sub bit and im content with this.
