Posted September 6, 2019. You should not need to remove the float bowl on an FCR carb to remove the fuel screw. It must be hung on the spring or it got turned in too tight at some point and the o-ring is mashed and that may be gripping it. Be careful as there is a spring, a tiny o-ring and a tiny flat washer that are part of the assembly.check for any binding or sharp angles in the cable. make sure that with out the cable the carb will close freely and easily. running should make zero difference.
