X-Men: TAS does deserve credit for balancing its cast very well 10 years before DC attempted Justice League and 18 years before Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Ideally, the X-Men: TAS's roster would have been a bit more fluid during its run, but it would be unfair to ask that of the only show that had a cast that large at that time.

There are several major changes as a result of AvX; the MU definitely doesn't reset to the SQ after. I wouldn't say it's "good" but it's worth reading if only to see the Phoenix Force costumes and what the X-Men characters would do with absolute power. I'd suggest picking up the TPB rather than hunting for individual issues.

It’s what got me into X-men and is the reason I love it so much. I thought it was a great show, and features a lot of the popular X-men storylines, like Dark Phoenix, Apocolaypse, etc. It is much more lighthearted then most superhero shows/movies, as it’s aimed at kids, so was fun to watch. 40. 8.
