I just had Jaheira die at the same place you did. She hadn't joined the party at that point. It wasn't an option for her to join the party at that point. She was just a follower. She wasn't a party member. She was just a Harper. You can't revive any of the Harpers that die in that battle. That is something you can only do with your party members.

You don't have to add her to your party to get her as a companion. She will wait for you to come back after the next boss fight and you can invite her to join you then. true.
