This is because I use SierraChart and Jigsaw. SierraChart has the most stable data connection and excellent trade copier and most customizable charts. Jigsaw has one of the best DOM. I use tradestation on my windows (on my mac) which works pretty well for my needs. It's good right out of the box, lots of different commodities and currency futures for reasonable margin. $3-4k will be enough for a couple micro/ commodity contacts. I wouldn't recommend ninjatrader. Really outdated and the whole "lifetime license" is nonsense. You should be worrying about first making the money in trading to even transfer money out. I’ve had Tradovate for a while and no issues at all transferring money in or out of my brokerage account, it seems you have issues with a minority of what people are experiencing.
