It is much more durable than painted on finishes like cerakote. I have a P DUO that has many rounds through it at this time and the only major wear I have seen is on the screws and magwell which I do not believe are DLC'd.If you want a double stack 1911/2011 - you’re really limited to custom or Para/Bul/RIA, the Staccato is really the best choice (imho) for the money.
