My wife and I decided that her sister was way to emotionally unstable to watch the kids anymore. We found someone else through our Nanny to help out part time. My SIL was told she was no longer needed. My MIL and SIL yells at us because my SIL quit her job because her babysitting schedule interfered with it and now she’s unemployed because of us.
NTA. My babysitter is not available at the drop of a hat with no warning. Also it sounds like babysitting is just expected of you now, but you have a right to live your own life. They need to respect your plans too.
